27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
This verse is part of the Bible’s very first chapter, describing how God created everything—including humans. After forming the earth, sky, sea, animals, and plants, God turns to create mankind. Unlike everything else, people are made in His image. This gives humans a special place in creation and a unique relationship with the Creator. It also affirms that both male and female are fully made in God’s image—equal in value and dignity.
You are not here by accident. You were intentionally made by God and carry His imprint. That means your life has deep worth, purpose, and identity—no matter what the world says. Whether you’re male or female, young or old, your value doesn’t come from what you look like, what you do, or what you have. It comes from the simple truth that you are made in the image of God.
