31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
This verse wraps up the first chapter of the Bible and the sixth day of creation. God had just created mankind in His image, assigning them authority over the earth. After looking at everything He made—light, sky, land, plants, animals, and people—God declares it “very good.” This shows that God’s creation wasn’t just functional, but complete, beautiful, and exactly as He intended. Nothing was broken, flawed, or lacking.
God doesn’t make mistakes—and that includes making you. From the very beginning, He looked at His creation and called it very good. That includes the way you were designed: your life, your body, your personality, your purpose. Even when the world feels broken now, God’s original design was one of beauty, order, and goodness. Let this verse remind you: you are part of God’s “very good” creation. You were made on purpose, for a purpose, and with great care.
